Debbie Dawson

Debbie Dawson is a Cork born visual artist working with glass and painting. She has been part of numerous group exhibitions locally, nationally and internationally including USA, China, Germany, Denmark and UK. She has had solo shows in both Cork and Shanghai She has extensive teaching experience delivering workshops in Shanghai University, Bild-Werk Academy in Germany, numerous artist-in-prison schemes and is a part-time lecturer in CCAD. She has received awards from the Arts Council, Cork City Council, Design & Crafts Council of Ireland, Cork County Council, Twinning Cities Grant, and Culture Ireland. Her work is in many private and public collections including Cork County Council, UCC, Shenglin Gallery, Shanghai and the National Museum of Ireland.
