National Sculpture Factory (NSF) resides in a long, red-brick building on Albert Road in Cork. Established in 1989, NSF provides artists with large studio spaces, complemented with ancillary supports, technical support, training, lectures, residencies and consultancy, as well as a wide range of equipment normally not available in the average art studio.
The Factory is 770 square metres in size. Studio space is allocated on a project basis. Studio rental includes technical assistance, use of equipment (with the exception of the kilns for which there is a separate charge), 5 tonne gantry crane, wireless internet access, and access to the NSF’s extensive library which includes the latest art journals.
