The National Sculpture Factory provides a dynamic and supportive working environment for artists. The NSF also runs a dynamic programme of talks, projects and professional development opportunities which add further opportunities for engagement.
We offer flexible spaces to artists working in the contemporary visual arts.

The Factory floor has the capacity to house up to 12 individual artists in studio at any one time. Rental for a space on the factory floor is €190 per month for a single bay and €220 per month for a double bay. Double bays are granted by NSF Technical Manager based on your studio application and the project requirements. Studio rental includes technical support from our Factory technicians and use of all available equipment. There are extra charges for specific usages of the Kilns (see below for more details).
A working bay may be rented for shorter periods than 1 month (see full listings below).
Booking Guidelines & Procedures
Everybody who works on the Factory floor must be a full, up-to-date member for insurance purposes. Membership can be processed on receipt of studio application.
To rent a studio space you must submit a full NSF studio application form well in advance of your desired time for rental.

Once you have submitted your form, your application is reviewed and a decision is made within 2 weeks. The criteria for NSF studio rental are as follows:
The individual is a practicing visual artist.
There is an availability of space(s).
The suitability of the project to the Factory floor space.
Length or time of rental.

NSF studios are for the use of practicing professional visual artists. Other arts organizations may also apply for the space where they are not in direct competition with visual artists.
