Graduate Programme

Since its inception, the National Sculpture Factory’s primary objective has been to support the talents of artists, at all stages of their careers; to aid artists explore and develop their practices of art-making through all their forms of expression and production.

 

To this end, we have developed a very successful core programmatic strategy which creates the time and space for young artists to professionalise their practice straight out of college in a supportive and productive environment.

 

Residency awards include free studio rental for 3 months with a material stipends; technical and administrative support; curatorial and peer support; mentorship and free access to a number of our educational & technical workshops/lectures.

 

We now annually give out 5 Graduate Residency Awards :

 

Awards School
2 Open to MTU, Crawford College of Art & Design, in both Fine Art and Contemporary Applied Art graduates
1 Open to TUS, Limerick School of Art & Design in Sculpture and Combined Media graduates
1 Open to SETU, Waterford Institute of Technology graduates
1 Open to TUD B.A.V.A. Sherkin Island graduates
